Good news! JMI Medium Size Universal Wheeley Bars are in stock with either 2 3/8″ wheels for smooth pavement or 5″ wheels for slightly uneven pavement. See them here! The 10″ wheels are not yet available, they will be another 6-8 weeks. Since OSI purchased JMI, we have had to reverse engineer many of the products before we can produce them here and the 10″ wheels require additional axle parts, etc. So please be patient with us during this process, which applies to most of the products that are out of stock on the FarpointAstro.com website.
More good news! The long awaited Lumicon UHC filters are almost ready! They are being cleaned, checked, scanned, put into their filter cells, and packaged. The preliminary transmission scans look awesome, this is going to be a great batch! In fact, if these scans hold up for all of the filters, we are going to mark them as the Lumicon UHC Platinum Edition. Same price, though! They will be for sale on the website very soon, perhaps before the end of this week. See the 1.25″ UHC here, the 2″ UHC here, and the SCT back here. The bad news is that most of these are already spoken for by dealers with back-orders. After the dealers swoop in, only 6 of the 1.25″ and 22 of the 2″ will remain (we can make 2″ into SCT by changing the cell). Those numbers assume that all the filters will pass inspection. So if you want one, it would be a good idea to go to the product page and sign up to be notified when they are back in stock so that you don’t miss out. That way, you won’t have to hit “Refresh” every 15 minutes. 🙂
So you are probably wondering…”What about the rest of the stuff that I have been waiting for?” Fair enough, here is my best guess for when products will be available:
The JMI Medium Size Heavy Duty Wheeley Bars should be available in about 3 weeks. The Large Size Wheeley bars and additional Wheeley Bar accessories will probably not be available until the middle of June.
The Optic Wave Labs (OWL) optical shop is not going to be running until July. We have to do some remodeling of our new location before we can get everything running again.
