Adapter 1.25 to 2”

I paid $350 plus for a Takahashi collimating telescope to collimate my SCT and my TM-210 from OPT. However OPT did not advise me that I would have to buy a $175 adapter to make the collimator work with my 2” SCT. But what about my 1.25” SCT so I bought the 1.25 to 2” adapter for my 1.25” SCT for $18, and it works. Thanks, Lloyd
