Experienced reflector owners follow a two-tool approach: a laser collimator first for fast secondary alignment and a rough primary, then a Cheshire eyepiece for the final, precise primary alignment a laser alone can't achieve. For fast imaging scopes, adding an autocollimator takes precision to the highest level. Designed for Newtonian and Dobsonian reflecting telescopes only — not intended for refractors, catadioptric, or SCT designs.
