All built and supported by JMI (part of the CXB Astro family).
Pick up the accessories you missed at order time, replace a part as it wears, or upgrade your Wheeley Bar to handle a new observing site. Most accessories install in minutes with basic hand tools.

Step up from standard casters to 5″ polyurethane or 10″ all-terrain pneumatic tires.

Lose one? Bend one? Replacements in both 1/2″ and 5/8″ sizes. Triangle-Style hardware upgrade for Dob owners.
Many of these accessories — tow handles, soft-ground feet, speed-dial drill adapters, and replacement leveling screws — come in two versions based on which leveling screws your Wheeley Bar uses. Before ordering, check your existing Wheeley Bar:
The older standard size. Common on Standard Medium Wheeley Bars and earlier Heavy-Duty models. The leveling screw threads measure 1/2″ across.
The current heavy-duty standard. Common on newer HD Shorty, HD Medium, and HD Large Wheeley Bars. The thicker thread carries more load and runs smoother under the drill adapter.
Not sure which you have? Pull one leveling screw out and measure the thread diameter with calipers or a ruler. If you're still uncertain, email support@cxbastro.com with a photo — we'll confirm.
Pull one leveling screw out of your Wheeley Bar and measure the thread diameter. 1/2″ is the older standard (common on Standard Medium and earlier HD models). 5/8″ is the current heavy-duty standard (common on newer HD Shorty, Medium, and Large). If still unsure, email support@cxbastro.com with a photo and we'll confirm.
Yes — the whole accessory line is designed for retrofitting. Tie-down brackets bolt on with the existing hardware. Tow handles, soft-ground feet, drill adapters, and leveling screws all install in minutes with basic tools. The 5″ and 10″ wheel upgrades and the motor kit take longer but still drop in without modifications to the frame.
The Half Bracket kit is for the HD Shorty Wheeley Bar, which has a lower profile and only needs a half-height tie-down to secure the mount. The standard full kit is for the HD Medium and HD Large Wheeley Bars, which need the full bracket to clear the mount's height. Match the kit to your Wheeley Bar size.
The 10″ pneumatic wheel upgrade comes in two versions: one for Wheeley Bars with 1/2″ leveling screws, and one for 5/8″. Pick the version that matches your existing setup. Both versions raise the Wheeley Bar approximately 3.5 inches off the ground when assembled.
