Very well made. It locks on to the optical tube assembly very nicely. I put rubber bumper stops to catch the plate from sliding out when mounting and removing. The existing holes were already there. It has lots of tapped hands holes already there. Well enginered and solid. It’s made the way it should be.

I ordered the FDM10 dovetail for my 10 inch Meade LX200. This is the 2nd FDM10 I have ordered. The first one was flawless. The 2nd one, is another story. Farpoint sent me the wrong dovetail plate. I have been trying for over a week to get in contact with them to fix the issue, and get me the right dovetail. I have made multiple calls and emails for a week, with no response. I have ordered many things from Farpoint in the past and they have always been great, but their customer service has fallen apart. There is no excuse for not getting back to me in over a week. Clear skies are a premium these days, and Farpoint has screwed me over. There is no excuse for the lack of response I have experienced from Farpoint. On a $144 dovetail plate w/shipping, Farpoint should be trying to make my situation satisfactory, but they have ignored me for 9 days. I'm sick of it!
