Upgrade your EQ6 mount to a firm grip Farpoint Vixen Dovetail Saddle - EQ6. Our saddle uses a side clamping bar instead of the conventional retaining screw. The clamping bar covers over 20 times the clamping area that clamping screws offer and it won’t scar and deform the dovetail bar it is gripping.

This unit comes with a Farpoint Vixen Style saddle mounted on a puck adapter for the EQ6 mount. Simply remove the old EQ6 head and replace with this one.

Note: This is for the “old” style EQ6 mount only. Newer EQ6 mounts are known as “NEQ6” type and require a slightly different puck (coming soon from Farpoint).
