JMI EV-1n insufficient focus range

JMI EV-1n focuser received from Farpoint did not match the written catalog description. Write up says focuser has 3 inch draw tube. Focuser received has 2 inch draw tube limiting focus range to only 5/8". Multiple attempts to contact Farpoint for replacement or refund have been unsuccessful. Poor customer service.

Order #19325, Wrong draw tube height

I received my order for a JMI EV 1n Newt focuser and there is something wrong. I have one of these I purchased in 2020 that has a draw tube length of 1.7". The new one you send has a draw tube length of less than 0.75". I paid a much higher price of $475.85 for this new one and want the full draw tube length. How can you correct this for me?

Top quality. Waited a while, but I'm happy with the product.

Beautiful, Quality Instrument - Much nicer than I expected

Excellent fit and finish, super smooth movement.
Huge! I know the dimensions are in the description, but I was not prepared for how large it is. It is going to really top off my humble build.

JMI EV-1n Dual-Speed Event Horizon Telescope Focuser - Newtonian

Comes with no optical adapters so that you can select the optional adapter(s) you need, if any.

Select JMI Combination 1.25-inch Eyepiece and T-Thread Adapter, ADPT2-1.25T for camera use. JMI Adapter for mounting a CCD or other camera, with a standard T-thread, into a 2" drawtube. It also doubles as a 1.25" adapter. A T-adapter holds a CCD camera more securely than a standard 1.25" adapter. The adapter uses a compression ring to secure inserted equipment. It includes standard 48mm filter threads on the other end of the adapter (inserted into focuser end).

Select Farpoint 2 Inch Focuser to 1.25 Inch Eyepiece Adapter, FAV100 for a visual 2" to 1.25" eyepiece adapter. Farpoint 2 Inch Focuser to 1.25 Inch Eyepiece Adapter features a non-marring compression ring for precise centering of telescope eyepieces. Threaded for both 2 inch and 1.25 inch filters and has a stop to prevent long eyepieces from damaging filters.

*****************

A masterpiece of engineering and workmanship, JMI Dual-Speed Event Horizon Telescope Focuser - Newtonian is a low-profile, friction-drive focuser designed for both the amateur and professional telescope market.

The highly acclaimed Crayford design uses high pressure on a metal drive shaft pressing against a 3" metal drawtube which is held by bearings on the opposing side. This direct surface-to-surface drive mechanism eliminates backlash and shifting of the drawtube as seen in other designs such as the rack-and-pinion focuser, and allows for very fine adjustments. Zero image shift and zero backlash makes this focuser fantastic for visual and photographic work and a must for CCD imaging.

Featuring a 2″ black-anodized aluminum focuser design with dual-speed drive, pusher bearing, rubber grip gold knobs and two-speed operation. The focuser lifts up to 8 pounds and its dual-speed manual controls are over 15 times finer (small outer knob) and 1½ times finer (large inner knob) than most rack-and-pinion focusers, with a 9:1 ratio. Includes a compression ring in the drawtube for holding telescope eyepieces and accessories without scratching the equipment. The adjusting screw presses against the ring which tightens around the eyepiece or accessory.

Reducing adapters pictured are available separately.

Compatible with Newtonian telescopes and mounts on a range of surfaces from a 7.25″ diameter, or larger, tube to a flat surface.
