Most tripods have a 3/8" mounting post, but a few (mostly telescope) tripods have M10 threads. Get this M10 Mounting Post if you are sure that your tripod mounting bolt has M10x1.5  threads. (One 3/8" Tripod Mounting Post comes with each UBM).
