The Farpoint D-to-V Dovetail Adapter Assembly (Tall) lets a telescope carrying a D-size (Losmandy-style) dovetail bar mount on a V-size (Vixen-style) mount. It's an assembly of our 7″ D-size saddle bolted to a 7″ V-size dovetail bar: the V bar drops into your mount's saddle, and the D saddle on top clamps your telescope's bar. Machined from sturdy aluminum with a black anodized finish.
This tall version includes 2 spacer pucks that raise the assembly for easier access to clamping knobs in some configurations.

Which direction does it convert?
This assembly puts a telescope with a D-size (Losmandy-style) bar onto a V-size (Vixen-style) mount. The V bar on the bottom drops into your mount's saddle; the D saddle on top clamps your telescope's bar. For the opposite conversion, see the V-to-D adapter saddle.
What are the spacer pucks for?
The two included spacer pucks raise the assembly — the extra height makes the clamping knobs easier to reach in some mount configurations. That's what makes this the “tall” version.
