What does this plate do?
It bolts to the base of your Tele Vue clamshell, giving the clamshell a D-size (Losmandy-style) dovetail interface so the whole assembly drops into any D-size saddle.
Will it fit my clamshell?
It's designed for the Tele Vue clamshell only. Running a Takahashi clamshell instead? See our single-position and 12″ two-position Takahashi plates.
What mounts will this work with?
Any mount with a D-size (Losmandy-style) saddle. Mount still has a small Vixen saddle? Our D-size saddles and conversions upgrade it.
