Farpoint Bahtinov Mask Pro System — ZWO Seestar S50

The Farpoint Bahtinov Mask Pro System for the ZWO Seestar S50 brings precise, repeatable focus to your smart telescope. A custom-fit holder attaches to the front of the Seestar S50 and accepts the included Bahtinov mask slide — point at a bright star, focus until the diffraction spike pattern is symmetrical, then swap in a diffraction-spike mask for striking star images or remove it entirely to shoot.

How It Works

Center a bright star and reach rough focus, then drop the Bahtinov mask slide into the holder. The mask creates a distinctive diffraction-spike pattern; as you adjust focus, the central spike moves through the X formed by the others. When the central spike is perfectly centered and symmetrical, you are in sharp focus. Remove the mask slide and image as you normally would.
