These lifting straps are extremely helpful when lifting my Apertura 12 inch solid tube dobsonian. The straps are very well made from high-quality material. I really appreciate that they surround the ota horizontally versus a vertical strap as it allows your arms to be in a more natural position for lifting. Unfortunately I was overcharged for the shipping. I added a second item that boosted the cost of the shipping from $15 to $24. When the second item was cancelled, I was only refunded the cost of the item and not the tax or shipping. I love the lifting straps but it's unfortunate I did not receive a full refund for the second item I purchased. I emailed with my concerns but have not been contacted.

These straps are great quality and should be required or at least a “must have” offering of a package for these larger sized scopes. They look great and looks like they will last forever. They function as one would expect and the price is worth every penny for the quality.

Yes I know I am “just talking about a couple of straps”, these are quality straps that are durable and sewn and stitched very well. Reminds me of some of the quality stitching and materials that I used to buy on items from the 60’s and 70’s before companies decided to save and go “cheap” yet increase pricing.

You get what you pay for and this is definitely great quality at a good price and definite pride and attention to detail.

A great accessory for the Apertura AD12.
The only problem is you will need to center the straps across the telescopes center of gravity every time your use then.
I usually just use the top strap and grab the bottom of the telescope.
Definitely a must have upgrade.
