In a buying spree, I ordered this and the Celestron Piggyback camera adapter. After having ordered both, I changed direction, as I so often do with my setups. I had originally intended to mount a refractor atop my SCTs to this, but changed my mind. The packages arrived within a day of each other. The plastic Celestron adapter went back immediately. This however...is beautifully made. I have no doubts whatsoever that I could mount my 60 and 80mm ED refractors atop my SCT with this. If you have a standard DSLR, don't worry about flexure. This is a solid piece of metal. I'm keeping it. While I no longer have a use for it at the moment, when I do have a use for an adapter of this type (and I will), this is exactly what I will want.
