The Lumicon 2" Prime Focus Camera Adapter drops into any 2" focuser or diagonal and presents male T-threads (T2 / M42×0.75mm) on the camera side. Add the T-ring made for your camera and your DSLR or mirrorless body connects directly to the telescope for prime focus photography. Prime focus is the simplest, sharpest way into astrophotography: you remove the camera lens and the eyepiece entirely, and let the telescope itself act as the camera lens. The result is the telescope’s full focal length projected straight onto your sensor — ideal for the Moon, planets, and bright deep-sky objects as you take your first images.
