Run your V-bar telescope on a D-size mount — spacer pucks included.
The Farpoint V-to-D Dovetail Adapter Saddle lets a telescope carrying a Vixen-style (V-size) dovetail bar mount on a D-size (Losmandy-style) telescope mount. Machined of sturdy aluminum with a black anodized finish, it bridges the two standards so your smaller tube rides your heavy-duty mount without re-barring anything. Spacer pucks are included. CNC-machined in the USA.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which direction does it convert?
This saddle puts a telescope with a V-size (Vixen-style) bar onto a D-size (Losmandy-style) mount. It clamps into your mount's D saddle and grips your telescope's V bar on top. For the opposite conversion, see the D-to-V adapter assembly.
Why would I run a V-bar scope on a D-size mount?
It's the common upgrade path: you move to a heavy-duty mount with a D-size saddle, but your refractor or small SCT still carries its Vixen bar. This adapter bridges the gap — no re-barring, no drilling, and the scope still drops onto smaller V-size mounts when you travel.
What are the spacer pucks for?
The included spacer pucks raise the saddle for extra clearance — easier access to clamping knobs in some mount configurations. Use them if your setup needs the height; leave them off if it doesn't.
