Ez-Glide Wheeley Kit - Universal mobility upgrade for Dobsonian telescopes.

This user-installable kit permanently adds smooth-rolling casters to the base of your Dobsonian telescope, making it much easier to move between storage and observing locations. The result is a telescope you’ll actually use more often.

The kit raises the eyepiece by nearly 7 inches on most scopes, reducing the need to bend over: especially helpful for smaller Dobsonians.

• Rigid steel mounting plates – High tensile strength steel is 2.7× stiffer than aluminum, reducing vibration. Finished with durable UV-stable textured black powder coating.
• Broad compatibility – Designed to fit virtually any wooden-base Dobsonian telescope, with multiple mounting holes optimized for popular models from GSO, Synta, and brands including Apertura, Zhumell, Celestron, Sky-Watcher, Orion, Meade, and Antares.
• Locking casters – Standard smooth-rolling polyurethane casters with locking brakes. Optional “Total Lock” upgrade locks both wheel rotation and swivel for maximum stability.
• Complete kit includes – Three steel mounting plates, three polyurethane casters, self-tapping screws for the base, and ¼”-20 cap screws for the casters. You provide a Phillips screwdriver and 7/16” wrench.

Surface & Terrain Notes 5" polyurethane casters perform best on hard, smooth surfaces like concrete or pavement. They are not ideal for rough, uneven, or very dirty ground. For off-pavement use (grass, dirt, gravel), consider our Sky Trekker Wheeley Bars with 10" pneumatic tires and built-in leveling screws.
