The JMI Tow Handle XL is a 12″ longer version of the standard JMI tow handle bar. If you've ever felt like you were bending too far to grip the standard tow handle — or wanted a bit more leverage when pulling a fully loaded Wheeley Bar over grass or gravel — this is the upgrade. It's the same proven design, just stretched out.
Read this before ordering: The XL is the handle bar only — no additional hardware, no mounting bracket. You must already own a JMI Wheeley Bar with a standard tow handle installed; the XL simply replaces the standard-length handle bar on your existing setup. If you don't yet have a tow handle, order the 1/2″ Tow Handle or 5/8″ Tow Handle first.
The XL handle works with any existing JMI tow handle assembly — whether your bar has 1/2″ or 5/8″ leveling screws, the XL handle bar fits the same connection point. Made in the USA by JMI, part of the CXB Astro family.

Don't Have a Tow Handle Yet?
The XL is an upgrade, not a complete tow handle. If your Wheeley Bar doesn't yet have a tow handle installed, you'll need to order the full assembly first:
→ JMI Tow Handle — 1/2″ screws + 5″ wheels (for Standard Medium and older HD bars)
→ JMI Tow Handle — 5/8″ screws + 5″ wheels (for current HD Medium, HD Large, HD Shorty)
Wheeley Bars with 10″ pneumatic tires already include a tow handle from the factory — the XL works on those too if you'd like more length.

Will it fit if my Wheeley Bar has 5/8″ leveling screws?
Yes — the XL handle works with any existing JMI tow handle, whether your bar uses 1/2″ or 5/8″ leveling screws. The handle bar attaches to the tow handle's bracket the same way regardless of which underlying tow handle you started with.
How much longer is it, really?

I have a Wheeley Bar with 10″ pneumatic tires — does the XL fit?
Yes. Wheeley Bars with 10″ pneumatic tires ship from the factory with a standard-length tow handle. The XL replaces that standard handle the same way it would on a 5″ caster bar with an aftermarket tow handle.
Can I keep my standard handle and swap between them?
Yes — nothing stops you from swapping the standard and XL handle bars depending on the situation. The swap takes about a minute with basic hand tools. Most observers find one length they like and stick with it, but the option is there.
